Nine celebrations of successful communication in 2025.
2025 has definitely been a big year in content creation and communications. AI tools keep rising and changing the writing work; companies try to make sense of the fast-changing world; nonprofits struggle with unpredictable funding.
In a few words: Not an easy year if you happen to be a business owner, communication or content creator (or all three!)
In July, I shared via email and on LinkedIn some of the biggest successes of my clients in the first half of the year. Now that we’re approaching the end of the year, I looked back on those mid-year wins and realised there are so many I need to add to the list.
Despite a tumultuous year, these results make me smile and keep me going!
📚 First collaboratively written book 📚
One of the proudest moments was helping Helen von Dadelszen publish “Courageous Action”. This guidebook to confident communication was my first collaborative book-writing project, and I’m so proud of Helen‘s work and the outcome.

🎓 Seeing my students grow 🎓
Teaching at the Swiss School of Business and Management has been another pet project of the year, thanks to my wonderful students. A thank you email from a business communication student who told me my course helped him gain confidence in himself as a speaker. That, in my experience, is much more important than reading any book or learning any individual skill. When you have confidence in your skills and in your ability to learn, you can move mountains.
It felt even more meaningful and rewarding to return to the school after the summer break and meet some of the students again. Witnessing their evolution and growth, and accompanying the students over the years, is a privilege of a lifetime.
✍🏻 Launching my writers’ group ✍🏻
A third big step of 2025 was launching Content Circle PLUS, a monthly writing strategy and accountability group. And not just launching it, but seeing the impact it made in the members’ lives.
More regular publication rhythm, clarity on the message, understanding the strategy, getting along better with AI tools… All these wins were shared by the participants over the year.
📍 Supporting clients in their content wins 📍
Venturing into new terrain is meaningful for professional growth, but at the end of the day, there needs to be more to entrepreneurship. It’s hard to have a business if you can’t help clients reach their goals – and that’s why these accomplishments warm my heart:
❇️ A client who got her first booking via the Google Business Profile we set up and optimised together. When you focus on the right things, small steps take you in the right direction over time.
❇️ The consistency of a client who had an insanely busy year but who tirelessly kept coming back to her LinkedIn content. Posting week after week, restarting after every break, lapse or pause.
❇️ Free Content Circle participants and people who joined various talks I was invited to do this year. They reported gaining focus, insights and a refreshed energy to keep creating amazing content. Thank you for inviting me to speak and growing together, EMWA, MedComms Hub, B-Inspired Masterminds, Executives International and ICF Switzerland!
😎 Seeing teams shine 😎
Communications teams have felt the toughness of this year, too, but they’ve kept at it:
❇️ Like the team that sailed through a challenging change communication project feeling aligned and confident about their message, although the news they needed to share wasn’t easy for everyone to hear.
❇️ Or that one, who built a new email strategy and template to clarify their extremely varied and diverse newsletter and make its message shine even brighter.
❇️ And the team that now feels more aligned and confident in their publications, thanks to the review and quality process we’ve set up to ensure their publication work reflects the high quality of their expertise.
How to communicate about your wins?
Reading these words of gratitude and looking back at projects that have led to big wins makes me very humble. It’s an honour, pleasure and privilege to work alongside ambitious and smart people and help them spread the word and quality of their work even further.
The real impact can rarely be measured by numbers alone, and that’s why looking at the impact on my clients’ and their teams’ lives means more to me than pure mathematics.
And this is also my tip for you, if you’re thinking about how to share your business news or career updates towards the end of the year.
❇️ Share a client story, putting their transformation and change at the centre.
❇️ Tell the others about an important project you helped complete and the impact it made.
❇️ Walk the reader through your way of working to help others understand how you add value.
❇️ Explain why your work matters to you. Why do you love doing what you do?
When the time is right, don’t shy away from the numbers: they are great information, too! Just make sure they support the bigger story you’re telling.
Have you seen a particularly well-written success post recently? Share it with me, for inspiration, either below or on LinkedIn!
And keep shining your light even as the days get darker.
